The Sherbourne Separated Bike Lane

“I think it is great,” Minnan-Wong said as he stopped his bike in the southbound Sherbourne St. bike lane just north of Gerrard St.

“It is safer for cyclists which is what we wanted to achieve. I think when people see it and touch it and ride it, they are going to be really impressed and I think they are going to want more.”

“I think this is going to actually increase demand for separated bike lanes,” he added.

I’m hoping when they see this (on Sherbourne) they’ll understand that there is a great option for cycling on the east part of the downtown.”
