I've ridden on the shoulder of massive highways before (it's legal in California!) and while the high speed cars are a bit irritating, the high-tech ergonomic grade is something to experience on a bike. Miles fly by. you can feel it at Ride for Heart on DVP too. - sally

Where's the new bike lane?
The first and only Bike Lane to be installed
this year. It runs from College and Lansdowne
to Dundas and Sorauren on either side.
A welcome addition.
LOL. Yeah, you're right the 401 still rules which by the way is busiest highway in North America.
LOL.
In Victoria B.C. you can ride in the Bike Lane along the 6 lane Trans Canada Highway, scary.
