don't forget that BASTARD Ootes is still trying to get rid of the bike lanes and wants FASTER speed limets for traffic in the City he does not believe in traffic calming nor does he care about people being killed by cars in the City and would prefer that the green spaces be paved over to make parking lot's and more roads BUT he does care about the RICH people
Wait a minute. What about the Marilyn Bell Park trail completion that Darren wrote up in BikeToronto. I haven't been out that way recently, but it sounded like an improvement from the write-up.
Yes, I believe we should keep steady pressure on the city to put in more bike lanes. But I also think we should give compliements where compliments are due.

Hmm. And then there was some work on the trail along Lakeshore east in the beach area. Good work true. Gimmmies though don't you think. I was hoping for Harbord bike lane extension announced earlier in the year. Could still happen.
Yeah, I don't know if I'd count a shared recreation trail which no one would really use to commute to work/school as a sign of progress or commitment to cycling infrastructure in Toronto.
I love Ootes. As soon as he opens his mouth the cycling community unites against him. No other councillor can motivate cyclists like Ootes. I could only wish that my tongue was firmly planted in my cheek.
