Lots of talk, not seen anyone with enough balls to follow through yet.

This promotion of bike usage is NOT a new concept - and the real proof will be how the Public Health folks react to the now-c. 16-month old part of the TaketheTooker study/report where PH was asked to report on establishing a clean air corridor during smog alerts on Bloor St. It's been kinda sidelined - we don't want to have anything controversial now, but they're a bunch of overpaid hypocrites if they don't actually do something real to cut the searial killer air, and having a Bloor smog day bikeway is one very tangible step that is so far not being taken. The PH joining in offering a car for a no-smoking campign does tend to mean they're on the "carrupt" side.
