Erased Bike Stencils on Bloor (Photo Essay)


This is a photo essay to document the remnants of the bike lane stencils painted on May 30th by the Other Urban Repair Squad.

I find it absurd that they would grind away the road surface to remove some paint.

The grinding will cost us a bundle but the road repairs that will now be needed sooner will cost a fortune.

Our society is mad.

Thank you for recording this happening. Years from now people won't believe it happened.

It's astounding that they won't cough up the money to make the bike lanes but somehow manage to quickly find the money to have them removed.
