Cyclists exist

According to a letter ARC received from a suburban Toronto
Councillor, all cyclists should be required to wear bright clothing
when they ride. I guess if there is no strength in numbers
then you might as well stand out.

Comments:
Fine with me. Just make sure to pass similar rules so that cars must drive with their lights on at all times as well. Here in Minneapolis, where it is required by Minnesota state law to have your headlights on in the rain, half the cars don't bother to obey this simple rule that really helps everyone out.

I will then require that all cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs be painted reflective safety yellow or orange.

Won't matter one little bit they still don't charge drivers for killing bike riders or charge drunk drivers

Steeker,

You are correct. The biggest fine I have ever read/heard of for injuring/killing
a Cyclist in Toronto was $100 plus maybe two demerit points.
