Alberto de Ciccio - Recycled Bicycle Parts Sculptures

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Toronto
Bicycle Art Sculpture Fundraiser

Sculpture Artist Alberto de Ciccio will be celebrating 15 years as an artist with a solo exhibition at La Carrera Cycles on Harbord street opening June 3rd. Drawing inspiration from popular culture and natural history Alberto's kinetic and interactive sculptures made from re-purposed bicycle parts entertain and capture the imagination of young and old.

"Art, simple, true and cool." says Alberto in describing his sculptures. Combining his skills as a bike mechanic and his love for science fiction de Ciccio creates metal designs with intricate moving parts and very unique mechanical solutions.

This will be his first solo exhibition since 2007 and represents a rare opportunity to see his inspiring work.
All proceeds from the exhibition will be donated to the MS Society of Ontario and the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
