you and I understand that BIKE IS SMARTER but to the guy in the SUV... BIKE IS IN THE WAY
for some reason car drivers fail to see cyclists as just another part of traffic just like themselves
it boggles my mind that each day cars will honk and harrass me while they pass double parkers and illegally parked cars who are creating traffic without so much as a glance
Bikes are not in the way. Cars are. They harrass you by honking for mainly two reasons: a) To innocently warn you they're coming, as their drivers handbook recommends. b) To protest the fact that you have taken your space of the road which they feel belongs to them.
