For some reason I thought CM was next week, so I didn't get my "costume" together in time for tomorrow. Ohwell. I think I'll still carve a pumpkin for the bike and try to do some other fun stuff.
I really screwed up today. Not only did I forget that it was CM week so I couldn't get the battery for my UPS (I was gonna power some lights...), but I also left my wallet at work. Went to CDN Tire on the way home and only realized the mistake when I was about to check out.
So....Currently I have a Jack-o-lantern that will be on the bike (I'm good at keeping laundry money, so I went shopping with loonies). Not sure about a costume for myself. I might ressurect a similar costume from the HPVOoO bike ride two years ago (minus the pumpkin helmet). Last year I dressed as a dark-clothed figure riding up on a tall-bike.
But right now I'm procrastinating by eating watermelon and reading blogs. :-)
As a costume update, I'll be there as a last-minute skeletal cyclist... my normal bike clothes and helmet, along with half a skeletal mask, bony hands, and a black cape. I also know there's a spider, a nun, and a headless horseman coming. Should be fun!

Looking forward to this ride! Should be a blast.
So whatcha going to be for Hallowe'en? (trying to come up with my own inspiration for a last minute costume)
I think I will go as a scary guy. ;-)
