Searching for a cycling friendly Councillor

My son, upon hearing on how good things are in Chicago, took up the challenge of trying to find a cycling friendly Councillor here in Toronto for the upcoming election. He has run into a major stumbling block. The bar has been set so low for City Councillors that he does not think he can dig a hole deep enough to find one.

Here's what you do: Lay some lightweight sticks across the top of that hole, then sprinkle sand on it--careful! you don't want to fill in the hole yet. Now, lure some councillor over. This can be easy--just hold up some money, and sing "paaaay-raise! Come getcher paaaaay-raise!" They'll come pretty quick, and you're likely to get quite a few, so be careful. Angle yourself so they crash through the trap into the hole. Now you have a councillor (or several). Will they support cycling infrastructure? That probably depends on how long you leave them in the hole, but after a week they ought to be ready to negotiate.
