Cycle Right?

Now that Bike Week (fort-night) is over, time to teach
those pesky cyclists a lesson or two.
Me, I will be getting off my bike and walking if I see a
police officer over the next two weeks parked down road.
Well over 3,000 tickets were issued to cyclists during the
same campaign last year. This is what it looked like in 2004.
Remember those tickets for not putting your foot down
at a stop sign? Yup, that's Cycle Right.

Dude do cops really believe that they can give you a ticket for the no feet on the ground at a stop sign :D lol

Sure. A cop can give you ticket for just about anything. I have been stopped four times by Police over the years and only once did they actually
catch me doing anything illegal. The other three was just plain intimidation.
They like to have a little fun like everyone else. Cycle Right is nothing more than a public relations campaign which likely results in less people riding their bikes thus reducing the chance us enjoying a safe ride.

Sure smells like it. A friend of mine after
passing a truck parked in the bike lane got hit by
a streetcar last week. She
is okay but all bruised up.
The Constable told her this
when she bitched about the cops allowing drivers to
park in the bike lanes.
(AND I QUOTE!):
"If we stopped to give everyone who was parked in
the bike lane tickets, we would be there all day."
