Hahaha. I was about to forward this article to you wheh I came across it this morning. I hesitated because I had some weird instinct that said you'd have already have known about it. Congrats and well said.
What piqued my interest in this article was this:
"Bike lanes, for example, can affect the number of on-street parking spots on a stretch of road, and that worries local merchants who see parking as essential to economic survival".
So... economic survival of local merchants is more important than the survival of their customers who have chosen to use a bicycle?!?!?. That just got me mad. Serpents eating themselves style. Terrible. (IN A BAD WAY)
The tale of Ouroboros is an interesting read regardless of my analogy. It also mentions (bi)cycles.
It's to bad that a city such as Toronto has been failing in creating a viable city for bicycles.
Something tells me that the city will use the recent events of the possible terrorist attack as an excuse to not put funds toward creating bike lanes/pathways, parking and so on in the city.
