This is a great addition to your other high power battery lights , the more the better for me see'ing I do more night riding than day with work during the dark months and this would be good for CM rides so I could not waste the rechargable batteries
Do these only work when you are pedalling though? So if you were stopped at a traffic light, would you still be seen?
I've been in touch with the UK marketing guy behind these lights; if you stop pedalling, the go dark.
In my opinion, they're mounted too low on the bike to be really useful.

It _is_ a dynamo, just a stunningly low power one, only capable of flashing an LED instead of actually powering a light like a decent dynamo.
