That is the TRUTH and about Bay Street I use it all the time and the Bike/Bus lane is alway's full of cars and the cops do NOTHING I see it every time which is sad when the cops are right there in the left lane beside a car in the Bike/Bus lane and they never ticket the drivers :~(

yeah, I know. Just try and take the lane when there is
no taxi or bus in it. HA.
It was one of the things that got me into bike activism
for sure.

We're second class road users.
Cars are weapons.

Totally agree that cars can be used as weapons. Kill somebody and get a $500 ticket. Beats using a gun and doing two dimes. Scary!

Also, that Bay St thing. We get to share a lane with stinky buses and squirrely taxis. If it wasn't a challenge it would prabably be no fun.

This whole double fatality thing has contributed to putting me off my bike :(

Dave,

Keep riding.
I know how you feel. The day after it felt extra scary being on the bike. You just keep thinking
'am I gonna be next?'

Truth is that there is no point to think that way. Nothing in life is certain. Bad things can happen anywhere, any time.
You might as well enjoy your life riding a bike.

Sure beats the options.
(ok, a nice walk is fine too!)

Ride on. This city needs you.

Thanks, Martino

Gonna try a ride to see if it gets me out of the funk....

Ride on, ride on...
