This does not bode well for arguements that he could not spend time on bike issues because he was working on ward issues.

Ihope folks actually enlarged the pix to read the text...The odds are good that both parks and bike people could find fault with Mr. G too. Me, I don't like how he switched positions on the FSE before and after election, so he now supports it see Feb 21/05 cncl vote. Only a quarter-billion without thinking of looking at 10 or more transit options. Meanwhile, the Bloor St. takethetooker bikeway is only $200,000 some year maybe.

I guess no one is too pleased with the mayor's "Lapdog".

That sounds like one angry citizen!

What are they talking about with those bunkers? Sounds crazy!

PS. Who cares about parks and bikes when we can support small businesses instead? Seems like the author has very small horizons and is just angry about a few things in particular. I personally don't like Giambrone too much, but I don't take any stock in posters like this. Communism and autocracy? come on.

I had one of those in the front gate of my house today. Pretty amusing for so many reasons. Oh the ironing!

But yeah, whoever wrote that obviously has a terrible case of "poor me" syndrome. You want some cheese with that whine?

It is a pretty grassroots way to deliver a message, whether or not you agree with the message. There are no spin doctors or media making it more palatable. There are some complaints about Giambrone common to cycling in the flyer. I do not know if they have a legitimate complaint about the "steel bunkers" but it is a quite serious complaint that he did not even bother to listen to their concerns. Giambrone pays a lot of lip service to cyclists but that is about it. I guess it is a positive in a way that he is screwing everyone not just cyclists.
