They towed a car and put up a parking space

Note from Streets Are For People:
Heya,
Augusta Ave. is a little less colourful today -
the garden car, aka: 'Community Vehicular
reclamation Project' was moved to her new home this morning. Streets are for People! promised the City that we'd move it at the end of the growing season and we have done just that. The garden now resides behind Segovia Meats, down an alley that runs West off of Augusta Ave.. People are welcome to visit her when the gate is open but should take note that there is a big dog that lives back there... you can peak over the fence from the Green P lot on Bellevue - head to the N E corner of the lot :)

check out this link
these folks took this one step further

I would drop in a dime to hang out there for 15 minutes
YAY Ricksterrrrrrrr in the Pic and the girl that cut's me off all the time in the CM rides .. I still have to go eat at that place
WOW!
what a crazy idea
the parking on the side of the road is like 25 cents an hour
if cyclist could each pool together the money
each city block would only be like a few dollars each hour
if each cyclist paid a quarter
you could clear a lane for bikes during rush hour
like a toll road for bikes
funny thing
so many of these city blocks are no parking during rush hour
but
everyone has a reason
picking up their honey
grabbing their dry cleaning
making a delivery
everyone is an exception
