I have heard a rumour that someone near Queen and Dufferin has glued a car to the road. Apparently a neighbour was upset that the driver kept parking on the sidewalk so they glued the wheels to the road/sidewalk. I do not know if this is for real or a PR stunt and would really like to see some pics. Anyone?

there is industrial glue that could do that , and it is a fitting statment if it's true about the car on the sidewalk.
I have this fantasy whereby all cyclists in the city get their revenge on drivers who park in bike lanes by letting the air out of one (or more) of their car tires. Maybe, first offense one tire. Second offense two tires.
It would be a non-destructive / non-cost incurring way to protest cars in bike lanes. Maybe if drivers knew that they run the risk of being delayed (because they have to put on their spare and get their tire pumped back up) maybe they wouldn't think it such a time saver to park in the bike lane.
Whadya think?
I think there's a group in Paris that does something like that (the air thing, not the glue thing).
removing air out of someones tires will buy you a criminal charge. mischief. if you are caught. if.
Parking in the bike lane and dooring/maiming a cyclist will get you a $100 fine and three points, if.
I pointed out a van parked in the bike lane to a parking enforcement guy on one of their parking mountain bikes today and asked him to give the van a ticket the sh*t just said yaaaa right I'll be right back as he rode away.. sucks that they won't do thier job.(
Still fun though.
Steeker,
The Parking guys get assaulted by drivers every almost every day.
maybe I should go work for them then , that way I could get rid of some frustrations :-D
maybe more time should be spent taking these violent drivers off the road. probably same people who go home and beat their wives.
