Interesting. I like how cyclists and pedestrians aren't lumped together when crossing. One odd thing though is that those biking have to switch positions with those walking. In the Netherlands they would have done it the other way around. Had the pedestrian crossing farther from the intersection and the bike crossing closer to it but still offset.

Are bikes expected to continue rolling onto the forbidden sidewalk? Thats a tempting and inappropriate treat.
