Note: Cyclists are consistently not provided with
safe passage in dangerous areas like bridges and underpasses. So faced with an unsafe situation on
the road cyclists often chose to ride on the sidewalk. Not a nice thing to do to pedestrians. But a worse
thing for cyclists to have to endure daily.

It's too bad there isn't a governing rule that says a thoroughfare is not open to any mode of transit until it is safe for all modes.

Dam that is a horrible way to go, and the railing on the bridge is abit low don't ya think /

Thanks for putting our collective carism that makes bikes less worthy users out there folks. This was sad - and yes, we take to the sidewalks because the roads aren't safe.
