A cyclist died after he was struck by a car in the city’s west-end Thursday afternoon.
The collision happened at Rockcliffe Blvd. and Alliance Ave. near Jane St. Woolner Ave.
Emergency Medical Service officials said the man, described as approximately 40-years-old, was taken on an emergency run to a Toronto trauma centre just after 4:30 p.m. with life-threatening injuries.
He succumbed to his injuries minutes later.
The two occupants of the car were also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The intersection was closed for an investigation by Traffic Services.
